Rubber flooring mat/roll/tile pricing is quoted per square meter for standard specifications. Rubber sheet pricing is quoted per kilogram. Custom specfications are quoted individually calculations.
What is the MOQ? Do you support mixed-batch or mixed-container orders?
Standard MOQ is 200SQM per product line. Mixed-container orders across all six product lines are accepted. This allows wholesalers to consolidate inventory without committing to single-SKU volumes.
Can you provide free samples?
Free samples: Yes. We provide free samples of standard colors and thicknesses within 3 business days; buyer pays courier freight (DHL/UPS collect account). We deduct the freight from the first official order.

How many years your product quality guarantee?
Nicemat provides a 24-month manufacturing defect warranty from the date of Bill of Lading.
Coverage includes:
Dimensional deviation exceeding ±2% of stated specifications; Delamination of double-layer construction; Drop rubber granules from flooring surface; Tab breakage on interlocking tiles under normal installation (not caused by subfloor irregularity).
Exclusions: Normal wear and tear, damage from improper cleaning chemicals, UV discoloration beyond 3 years for non-EPDM products, and indentation from loads exceeding product design specifications. What's your product packing?

Can I customize patterns or logos?
No. Customizing pattterns or logo on rubber flooring is not available cause the raw material is hard to shape. All flooring are standard products.
Is rubber flooring made from recycled SBR, or EPDM? What's the difference?
The majority of our commercial-grade rubber mats and rolls use recycled SBR (Styrene-Butadiene Rubber) granules sourced from post-consumer tire recycling. EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) granules are added for color flecking and enhanced UV stability. Natural rubber (NR) is available only in custom rubber sheet orders for specialized industrial applications.
Is recycled SBR rubber flooring non-toxic and compliant with REACH or Prop 65?
Our recycled SBR NBR rubber flooring is manufactured using raw material screening at the sourcing stage. Project-specific SGS or Intertek testing can be coordinated for large orders. All binders used in our production are water-based polyurethane formulations with low VOC emission profiles.
Why does new rubber flooring smell so strong?
The characteristic odor of new rubber flooring comes from residual volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released during the curing process of polyurethane binders. This is normal for all SBR-based rubber products and does not indicate a safety hazard.
How long does it take for the odor to dissipate?
Under standard indoor ventilation conditions, the odor typically dissipates within 7–14 days.
Is there 100% odorless rubber flooring available for indoor gyms?
No SBR/NBR-based rubber flooring is completely odorless at the point of installation. However, our EPDM-flecked rubber rolls and composite rubber mats achieve the lowest odor profile in our product range due to high-density surface finishing (1,100kg/m³) that encapsulates binder residues.
What binders/adhesives are used? Are they eco-friendly?
Nicemat uses water-based polyurethane (PU) binders/adhesives in all molded rubber products. These binders/adhesives are formulated without formaldehyde, heavy metal catalysts, or solvent-based plasticizers. Compared to traditional solvent-based adhesives, our PU binder/adhesives system reduces VOC emissions by approximately 60–70% during production.
Will there be color variation between batches?
Minor batch-to-batch color variation is inherent in recycled rubber products due to raw material source variability.
Nicemat controls this through:
Raw material pre-blending: SBR granules are mixed in 5-tonne lots before molding to reduce granule source variation. EPDM fleck weighing: Color granules are weighed to ±1% accuracy per batch, ensuring consistent fleck density.
If phased delivery is required, specify a tolerance band in your purchase order. Solid black products exhibit the least visible variation.
What rubber flooring thickness is recommended for different applications?

Are the seams visible between interlocking tiles, and will the puzzle tabs break over time?
Seam visibility depends on tile precision and installation technique. Nicemat interlocking rubber tiles are water-jet cut with ±0.5 mm dimensional tolerance, producing tight puzzle joints that are minimally visible under standard gym lighting. Darker colorways (black, dark grey) further reduce seam perception.
Can custom roll lengths, widths, densities, or EPDM fleck percentages be ordered?
Yes. Is it suitable for rooms with underfloor heating?
Yes, rubber flooring is compatible with hydronic underfloor heating systems (water temperature ≤ 55°C). The thermal conductivity of compressed SBR NBR (0.15–0.25 W/m·K) allows gradual heat transfer without damaging the material.
Key installation guidelines:
Use loose-lay or floating installation: Avoid full adhesive bonding that traps heat and may cause binder softening;

Is rubber flooring 100% waterproof, and will water trap beneath the tiles cause mold?

What is the fire rating or flammability classification of commercial rubber flooring?
Our standard rubber mats and interlocking tiles are classified Class E per EN 13501-1. Is it slip-resistant? Is it slippery when wet?

Will it yellow or discolor over time?

Do I need to glue down rubber flooring, or can it be installed loose-lay?
Loose-lay / Floating Floor: Suitable for interlocking rubber tiles and straight-edge mats in home gyms, temporary commercial setups, and modular facilities. No adhesive required; tiles rely on weight and puzzle joint friction. Allows disassembly and reuse.
Glue-down: Required for rubber flooring rolls in commercial gyms and high-traffic areas to prevent seam lifting and edge curling. We recommend PU adhesive applied at 0.3–0.5 kg/m².

Can rubber mats be installed over carpet, concrete, or wooden subfloors?
Rubber flooring can be installed over concrete and wooden subfloors with proper preparation. Carpet is not recommended as a base layer due to compressibility and moisture retention. Concrete: Ideal subfloor. Wood (plywood/OSB): Acceptable for home gyms. Install a vapor barrier if wood is over a crawl space.

What subfloor preparation is needed?
A clean, dry, flat subfloor eliminates 90% of post-installation callbacks. Required steps:
Clean and dry: Remove all debris, oil, paint, and previous adhesive residue. Flat: Maximum deviation 3 mm per 2 m radius. Stable: No active cracks > 1 mm width; repair with epoxy filler.

How are edges finished after installation?

What is the correct way to clean and mop rubber flooring daily?
Daily maintenance for commercial gym rubber flooring requires only three steps:
Dry removal: Vacuum or sweep loose debris, dust, and chalk.
Damp mop: Use a microfiber mop with warm water and pH-neutral detergent (dilution 1:100). Avoid excessive water; rubber is impermeable but water can seep at seams. Air dry: Allow 15–30 minutes air drying before heavy traffic resumes.
