Founded in 2018, Nicemat Industrial (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. — headquartered in Shanghai, manufacturing in Shandong — runs a 10,000㎡ plant where SBR, NBR and EPDM compounds are mixed, calendered, vulcanized and inspected in-house.
Main products including high-density gym mats, seamless rolls, interlocking tiles, double-layer drop-zone mats and industrial rubber sheets. We supply gym chains, sports facility contractors, school boards and distributors across Europe, North America, Australia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and South America in container-load quantities with FOB/CIF pricing.

How We Manufacture
From Rubber Granules to Finished Flooring: Production Process
Nicemat controls the full production chain in-house. Raw SBR and NBR granules and EPDM flecks are sourced from compliant vendors and stored in climate-controlled silos. Each batch is mixed to specified ratios — EPDM fleck content ranges from 5% to 30% depending on client requirements — then pressed under controlled temperature and pressure to achieve target density. Post-curing, every batch is tested for hardness, tensile strength, and elongation at break. Finished products are edge-trimmed, surface-inspected for defects, and palletized or roll-wrapped for ocean freight. The entire process is documented per batch and traceable by production order number.
1. Batching / Material Preparation
Raw materials are precisely weighed per formula, including recycled SBR rubber granules, polyurethane binder, EPDM color topping granules, and curing additives.
2. Mixing / Blending
Ingredients are charged into a high-speed mixer and blended under temperature-controlled conditions.
3. Spreading / Laying
The blended compound is evenly spread into molds or onto a continuous production line at a specified thickness.
4. Molding / Press Forming
A hydraulic press applies forming pressure to the spread compound for initial densification. Molding pressure and die precision determine dimensional stability and surface flatness.
5. Vulcanization / Curing
Under heat and pressure, the binder undergoes cross-linking to solidify rubber granules into an integral mat.
6. Demolding / Stripping
After curing, the finished mat is removed from the mold. Demolding operations must control cooling rates to prevent warping or cracking from thermal stress.
7. Trimming / Edge Finishing
Post-demolding mats are edge-trimmed to remove burrs and ensure dimensions meet order specifications. Trimming precision affects on-site seam fitting during installation.
8. Inspection / Quality Control
Finished mats undergo comprehensive quality inspection, including visual check, physical property tests, and safety performance tests.
9. Standard Export Package
Inspected products are packed per order requirements, commonly by stretch film and fumigation-free wooden pallets.
